James Saturn, born Jimmy Ray Jones III, is an actor and hip-hop artist from Indianapolis, Indiana. He began his creative career in music, releasing The Wavelength Mixtape in 2015 while still in high school. Blending introspective lyricism with sounds ranging from mellow, atmospheric production to energetic trap, Saturn developed a distinct style that earned attention within the Indianapolis hip-hop scene and coverage in local media.

Previously performing under the name “Jxmmy Jxnes,” Saturn has continued releasing music under the James Saturn name while expanding his work into film and acting.

He made his film debut in the 2025 feature Marijuambies, appearing as a fisherman. Saturn also worked behind the scenes on the production as a production assistant and gaffer, gaining experience on both sides of the camera.

In 2026, he continued building his on-camera résumé with an appearance as a background security guard in a Don Toliver music video filmed during the artist’s sold-out performance at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
